Child Car Seat Laws in Washington:
The adult in charge of the child's safety must make sure that any youngster under five is buckled securely in a child car seat that has received federal approval. If you don't, you risk receiving three points on your driving record and a $60 fine.
As per Washington law:
Youngsters under the age of five must be buckled up in a child restraint system that has received federal approval.
Younger than three-year-olds must use the built-in kid seat in the car or a separate car seat.
Depending on their height and weight, children ages 4 through 5 must use a seat belt, an integrated child seat, or a separate car seat.
Children from six to seventeen are required to use seatbelts.
The DHSMV advises that, while it is not necessary, kids 12 years old and under should always travel in the back seat of the car. This is because the deployment of air bags raises safety issues, particularly for small children.
Please refer to the DHSMV reference to vehicle and kid safety for additional information on child safety seats and restraints.

We have bad news for those who were hoping that the answer to this question would be yes: according to Washington law, it is illegal to have an open container of alcohol or to drink alcohol while operating a motor vehicle or while riding as a passenger. Even while seated in a parked car, you are still prohibited from doing this. Only your glove box, provided it's locked, or the car's trunk are suitable places to store containers with broken seals.
The only times this regulation is not applicable are when you ride in a self-contained motor home longer than twenty-one feet or when you are a passenger in a commercial vehicle, such as a bus or stretch limousine. Drivers of black sedans and SUVs are not authorized to operate commercial vehicles, thus if you are a passenger in one of these vehicles and you consume alcohol, you are breaking the open container legislation.
Payment
Stripe requests a $0 or $1 authorization from the issuing bank when storing client information or when using Checkout to collect payment information in order to confirm that the card is issued and that the bank will authorize it. In the event that Stripe receives a decline, it will promptly reverse the authorization request. On their credit card statement, some consumers can still see a permission for $1 even if the bank rejects it. It is crucial to keep in mind that this is not a charge and will be deleted from their account. The duration of this removal varies based on the bank and can range from a few minutes to several weeks.
